-dBm signal meter instead of bars?

Any way to have the -dBm signal instead of the bars, tried searching for something in cydia but had no luck. I've seen screen shots with people that had them.

Any ideas?

Gen is right. Activate SBSettings, press "more", go down to "System Options" and then turn on "Numeric GSM".

Come to think about it this can be a workaround to get an idea if you're getting decent signal.
How do you read that number? I get -86 with 4 bars so -100 would be max I guess?

GSM (at&t at least) is -51 (strongest signal, standing next to tower) to -113 (weakest signal before dropping).

u can do it without jalbreaking, just go into field test mode. once in it lets you switch between the 2, just change it to db by tappin. then just respring using the power button/ home button. ill show u mine:

That's backwards , the higher the number, the stronger the signal. Lower number, weaker signal.

the number yes..but remember.the number you're seeing is actually negative...so -100 is a higher *number* than -50..but since these are negative numbers, -100 is actually a lower overall number than -500, so -50 is a stronger sinal

As twisted said, it's a negative number. A lower number IS weaker. -100 is lower than -80, not higher.
