Dbrand Skin or Hardshell?

Loving the look of the skin, but I've had bad luck putting on anything like that (screen protectors, decals, bumperstickers), so I'm a bit nervous.Then again, the hardshell cases like kuzy and speck have been known to scratch the aluminum.

Need someone to sway me one way or the other.

I use an iCarbons skin on the bottom, mostly because I go to various places & put the machine down on lots of surfaces and it works well. I think the hard-shells are a bit over the top / not required as long as you're the careful type.
