Hi all,
For those of you who have a dbrand skin on their phones, does it still fit with an Apple Silicone case when the phone has the skin?

I like to use the phone semi naked but when I go for bike ride, I put it in a case as I use the phone for GPS and such.

Thanks!

I use skins on both the phone and their case. They're great initially but with time the adhesion under the narrow camera surround is prone to weaken and start lifting.

That would annoy me. Ok no skin

But jic you change your mind: I had issues with using a skin and a case. Tore the first time I tried to change. When I contacted dbrand, they recommended that if I wanted to use a case to use the standard fit and not the precision fit.

I looked and there’s only one fit without the precision or standard options

They come with 2 skins. One that just covers the back glass and one that covers the back and sides. If you go on their website and look at the phone model you want to skin, they have installation videos that show the different skins being applied.

I am planning to get just the back skin and use a clear case. I also have the Apple leather case which I might swap once in a while. Any idea if that will affect the skin over time ? I don’t need the frame/ side skin.

Has anyone that used a Dbrand skin have experience with the black leather version?

Does it have real texture? I'm not expecting it to look or feel like leather, I just want to know if it has any grip.

I have the black leather Dbrand on my 12pm. Doesn’t really add any grip. It does look like leather sort of. If you want grip go with the dragon skin. Also I use mine with an Apple leather case and have no issues OP. Nor with the camera. It’s still on good.

It fits the apple MagSafe silicone leather cases even with both back and sides? Just the back? I’m looking at the precision cut but still want to use my silicone MagSafe case on my 12 pro max.

not sure about the sides but the back yes. I ran my phone with a dbrand on the back along with clear side skins from extremeskins inside a leather case no problem. You just have to be careful putting it into the case as you can catch the skin on the edge and peel it off

I see. I guess the sides might cause problems. Thank you very much for the clarification, sir. Stay safe
