i had a dbrand skin on the galaxy s8 I had. Didn’t use that phone with a case though. I’m really liking the ringke fusion x case for my max, and want to keep using it. Wanting to get a dbrand skin for the back of the phone to change the color. Was wondering if the phone will fit fine in the case or if there would be any issues with putting the phone with a dbrand skin on it in the case. Anyone have any experiences?

I always used skin and had no issue putting phones in cases. Some might be slightly tighter than other cases. The only problem is when you remove the case you have to be careful the case doesn't catch the edge of the skin that it peels off. After applying the skin give it's good hot blow dry around all the edges and then let it set for a few days before using a case.

I haven't used that specific case, but I've used similar in the past with a skin.

If you take your time and put the case on you should be fine since it's a flexible TPU. You can bend it to get the corners in without lifting the skin.

If you do that and leave it you should be fine. If you're trying to take it on and off at any point you're probably going to end up lifting a corner on the skin. This is assuming you're talking about a full skin that covers the sides.

If just back then you're good.

Thanks guys. That’s what I thought but wanted to make sure that it wouldn’t be an issue before I bought it. Won’t be using the one that wraps around the frame. Just the one that goes on the back.
