i have been trying to figure this thing out over a year, and i'm still working on it. i want to remotely connect the storage inside of TC over the internet, but i can't, unlike Linksys so easily configure. i don't wanna switch it back to Linksys, so if there is anybody in here can help me out here. i would really appreciate. (Apple support forum didn't help)

I don't have a TC, but from Google I found this in another forum:

"Here's my experience so far: I have a Time Capsule connected to a dynamic IP address. The device is set up to "advertise globally using Bonjour" and is linked it to the DynDNS hostname. I'm able to access the Time Capsule via my DynDNS hostname ("afp://my.dyndns.hostname.com")."

But most searches say that DDNS on the TC is not possible. Lame.

they look different, do i need a hostname? and do i have to put exactly word "my" in the link, or it is something else that i named it?
