does the 13 inch MBP support DDR 3 1600 ram? It seems the standard in the MBP is 1333. Any links to 8gb worth of 1600 ram if it works with an early 2011 13 inch mbp? thanks.

I picked up two 4 GB Kingston PC3 8500 Ram chips for about $45 total on Amazon, delivered. My late 2008 MacBook Pro reads them correctly.

Greatest buy ever.

thats only 1066 mhz im looking for 1600 mhz since 1333 mhz is standard. I was wondering if 1600 mhz works in a MBP

Thanks for that. I love G skill ram I have used it before. Now my question for those two rams. The 5$ difference is between 9-9-9 timing and 11-11-11 timing. Im guessing I should spend the extra 5$ and go with the 9-9-9

I would yes. Plus you get a freebie with it as well.
