Hey guys longtime reader first time poster, 100% mac convert now. Anyways i've read the few threads about the Alu MB DD3 ram upgrade freezing issues, as i have first hand experienced this with a set of Crucial DD3 from newegg, however i purchased the set that was not under the "Apple" category. Has anyone had any luck with the Crucial Apple set?

this was the set that i purchased

i have recently purchased this OEM samsung set which should 100% since our notebooks came with samsung, at least mine did anyway

i know it says MBP but it should be the same and the same set for MB costs $165!!

anyways i hope this set will resolve any further lockups otherwise ill just spend the extra money and go to the apple store.

Call crucial, tell them their ram kills your computer (because it does), get new ones, plug them in.

I had this issue before with an old 'book Pro and crucial ram, kernel panicked everywhere. Sent the ram back, crucial sent me new ones, worked. All done in less than a week.

Granted it shouldn't have happened in the first place but hey, that's life.

I am on my third set of ram from crucial, the first 2 seemed to freeze at around 40 hours, I have not experienced a freeze after 3 weeks with this set, just send it back..... Crucial will make it right.....
