Hi all

I’ve had a DIY 250/1TB fusion running happily in my Mac mini for years now but High Sierra won’t fully support it due to the new file system... enter a new 1TB MX300

Question is.. how to de-fuse and restore.

A: CCClone the fused drive onto the new SDD. pPop the SSD back in and then upgrade to HS.

B: New install of Sierra on SSD them time machine restore then upgrade to HS.

Option A worries me with permissions, a clone never seems quite the same and external HDs and iCloud photos can mess up. Option B makes me nervous as I’ve tried to do this before and the version of OS was slightly different so the time machine wouldn’t restore....

Any thoughts would be appreciated... Option C?

Thanks
