iPod Dead (20 gig iPod)

So my 20 gig iPod is about a year and two weeks old. I listened to it on the way to work, and on the way home it wouldn't turn on. The battery was charged, but now it won't turn on or be charged. Holding down menu + select does nothing.

Is this a common problem? Any warranty that covers this?

do u have a dock? try docking it if u got one or try a reset....if that dont work take it into the apple store.
