My 60gb G4 iPod is apparently dead :(. last night it would not turn off. The screen stayed fully illuminated. I let the battery drain overnight and then plugged it in to recharge. The apple showed up when I plugged it into the charger, like a reboot, but when I took it off after a few hours is was totally unresponsive. I tried plugging in to my MAC but iTunes did not even acknowledge it. I guess it's time for a new iPod unless someone has a solution.

Thanks,
Vance

They do die, usually hard drives die. Get a new hard drive and try to install it yourself or you can sell it to me because I like the old school fourth gen ipods and can use the spare parts.
