Or try to plug firewire on both computer (when it's off) and turn 'em on at same time and press "T" I think and you will be able to transfer the files. It might work....

Yes, connect both computers via firewire, and startup your broken eMac and hold t down until you see a firewire logo, and startup your other computer normally. You should see the other computers HDD has an external firewire drive on your desktop.supremedesigner said:

Also, it happened to my eMac a while ago. I was pissed that CompUSA didn't do it right for the 5th time! Also, my warranty expired so I'm screwed. Do NOT, I repeat: DO NOT go to Altomonte Spring, Orlando, FL compusa store, they have terrible mac repair guy! I swear. He is doing harm than good.
