Imac g4 15" 800mhz. No power. Totally dead. Was told that the ram and hdd was removed. Upon inspecting, yeah, the user accesible ram and airport card is missing. The hdd present though ! But the ide cable is missing.
Tried resetting PMU. Just pressed it once, with the plastic cover still on top of it! Removed pram battery. Tried again.
Still no power....... Or yeah, does the user removable ram needs to be installed in order for it to just chime ? Coz i tried witout the user removable ram. Everything else how it came...
Perhaps it is the PSU, anyway, do i need the ram to be present ? Thanks.
