Dead iPad 3

Just wondering how many others might have had a brand new iPad 3 that you were charging up for the first time stop working, dead as a doornail? Back to the Apple Store this afternoon. Not a good start.

Try this first before you take it back. It could have been a glitch from inserting the power connector. I've had it happen to me on non-Apple electronics.
