hello guys.
i recently found my iphone 3gs, and decided to jailbreak. i had jailbroken it before, and decided to use the same method, p0sixspwn. i had updated ios from 6.1.3 to 6.1.6 while it had previously been jbroken. then i restored it in itunes. i have no blobs saved, and know virtually nothing about my issue. it got stuck in soft dfu mode, which i changed to dfu mode, and attempted to "fix recovery" in tinyumbrella.
also, from what ive read, tinyumbrella launched a "non-jailbreaking" version of greenpois0n.
it gave me a few errors, and then got stuck at "initialized greenpois0n.
help would be very much appreciated.

close redsn0w, reopen, select ipsw again (6.0) and click just boot.
it shows the redsnow pineapple logo then changes to the apple logo with a progresss bar and then back to pineapple then to a solid apple logo then to a "set up your new iphone" screen.
i dont have a sim card, can i do it without a sim?

You need a sim to activate the phone past the activation screen.

i did it all and installed p0sixspwn like it said, then i left for a minute, came back and my phone was off. i plugged it in and it was in dfu mode so i opend up redsn0w and selected the ipsw and then just boot. i got the error "exploit failed".
