Alright, I've got a 60gb iPod Photo (I forget what generation, but it was the one when they switched to only color ipod photos accross all lines). But anyways...it just decided to die today, won't power on, even when plugged in, toggled, etc. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem...

Luckily I am under warranty still, so I will be able to send it back etc (this is the 3rd different iPod I have had to do this with). But I have never had to send back the iPod after a generation change... so I was wondering are they going to send me an iPod photo... or one of the video ipods... this may seem like a dumb question... but I can hope, right?

Unless they are completely out of reserve stock, you will get back what you send in. If they have no more left, you will get a model upgrade, but that doesn't often happen.
