Last night my iPod's battery went all the way dead, just like it has in the past, and when I plugged it in it never came back on. I left it to charge all night and it didn't make any difference. I have tried 4 different chargers and none of them are doing anything. Any trouble shooting ideas for me?

P.S. My warranty is up so I am willing to dismantle and do any repairs that you think might help.

I would just bring it back to the genius bar and let them check it out and find out what's wrong with it... that's the safest

and if it's totally irreparable, then wait for the new ipod touch then~~ (possibly coming out in sept!!)

Try to hard reset, because i had the same problem, it couldnt start or charge the touch anymore. When i did the button combination for the hard reset it al worked fine again 🙂
