I have a light pixel on my new MBA 11", when displaying any light colour it appears much lighter, but is not visible on dark/black colours.

I thought if the pixel was stuck open, it would be brighter even on the dark colours?

Anyway, not a great problem, but should I have it replaced? I am still within the 2 weeks (obviously - it only being released a week ago)!

I would definitely have it replaced. If they refuse to swap it out, I would return it and buy another one.

They did away with the 10% restocking fee awhile back.

A stuck pixel appeared on my iPad's screen (3rd gen) some weeks ago. Couldn't bare a stuck pixel in such a nice screen so went to the store. They only looked at it 30 seconds before giving me a new one. Funny thing that the new one had some dust inside the screen and I got it re-replaced again. LOL
