Any idea what the warranty coverage is for this?

understand there was a policy document going around saying for 15”there needs to be >3 dead pixels for it to be replaced.

anyone had experience with this policy?

Most folks who have had dead pixels reported that Apple replaced the machine. I have no experience with that and can only relate to you what others have stated and have no idea what the warranty says. It probably will depend on the store you purchased it from and the person at the store you speak with. With stores being closed until the 27th of this month you'll need to wait until then.

Yeah agreed thanks for this! You mean replaced the display or replaced the machine?

The entire machine was replaced. But that depends of course on how long you've owned it. Obviously a machine that's few months old might have the display replaced rather than the entire unit.
