i'm going to meet up with a dude to buy a monitor and all he has is a macbook to test for dead pixels, that's why i want to make sure that program will work. if you have a macbook, can you do a quick test to see if it works properly. thanks

Any of those dead pixel tests will work, both for notebooks and for external monitors. If he installs one on the MacBook, he can test any monitor plugged into the MacBook.
