Hi Everyone,

I have a MBP 15" From 2010 and its' been running fine every since I got it. However, the only thing that bugs me is the dead pixel that is situated near the centre-left part of the screen. Is there anything I can do about it?

Thanks

No. I've heard that if you "massage" the dead pixel (rubbing the surface of the screen), it may disappear in some cases. But it never worked with me.

By the way, how's Apple politics in regard to dead pixels? I don't want to buy a MacBook Pro with a dazzling retina display (whenever it comes out) just to find out that there's a dead pixel on it and that Apple is not going to replace it.

When did the dead pixel appear? I think I better check mine for any when I get one so if I find one I can return it within the 14 days, at least then they can't refuse the refund.
