No. I've heard that if you "massage" the dead pixel (rubbing the surface of the screen), it may disappear in some cases. But it never worked with me.
By the way, how's Apple politics in regard to dead pixels? I don't want to buy a MacBook Pro with a dazzling retina display (whenever it comes out) just to find out that there's a dead pixel on it and that Apple is not going to replace it.
