Dead Powerbook? ...tell me the inevitable

Apple didn't charge me for the repair. I guess there was a note in there about my dissatisfaction. They replaced the logic board, a mem stick, and the battery.

I'm selling her to buy a newer model.

I'm looking for a used MacBook Pro, possibly with some warranty remaining. I bought this Powerbook for $1,300 three years ago. It was three months old at the time and had the three year AppleCare on it. A great deal at the time. Current MBPs are a little higher, although I've seen some good deals on eBay.

Three years ago I had to explain to my wife why we buy computers every three years. I'm having to explain it all over again.
