Actually, you're on MacRumors, so pretty much everyone posting claims to not like the movie. Some even admit to having seen it before declaring it terrible, though they obviously are not MacRumors regulars.

Movie could have been better had Ryan Reynolds taken a break every now and then from the Jim Carrey face movement and voice. I felt like the gas pedal was floored the entire time without any breathing room. It lacked drama-relief to counteract his comic-relief.

Whatever happened to Apple censor council? SJ wouldn't have allowed this.

You can always do your job as a parent and stop being lazy. Also don't care about your excuse you could always made sure your wife was on birth control or tied her tubes so we would such lazy parent comments like this anymore.

Have you even read the Deadpool comic books at all because Ryan Reynold was playing his character down to a T. Deadpool is not a hero but a Anti-Hero only drama ever was between his GF and himself from turning insane.

Not sure what else you wanted but don't tell me you were a fan of Deadpool in Origins: Wolverine because that's just going to.....me.

I know i'm in the minority here, but i really didn't like the movie. I don't understand why it's so popular

If you never heard of Deadpool or read the comic books how did you expect to enjoy the movie to even understand why the plot wasn't much but clear enough about who Wade Wilson was and who he becomes. If you also watched X-Men movies the first two or the Comic Books you would also understand the Mutant X Project.

Deadpool character is no hero but a Anti-hero and also known for Merc with a Mouth.

Yep, i don't read comics but i like superhero movies and i heard Deadpool was great so i saw it. I felt like the humour was forced and immature and Deadpool spoke way too fast which made it annoying to me. That's from my perspective as an *average user* of movies haha but it's great if people who like the character enjoyed it on the big screen.

Only mistake you made was you thought Deadpool is a superhero he is a anti-hero.

With every for-screen adaptation, it's up to the director to pace a film so that it feels more natural, and sometimes that means altering elements of the narrative to fit. Reading a comic book and watching a movie with a comedian playing a character are similar but different. And yes, I have read most comics because I'm that nerd. My comment was about pacing of the film and not an attack on comic books... you got very defensive very quickly for zero reason. I hated the Deadpool character in Origins just like everyone else did. I also hated the entirety of the Origins film.

What I wanted were strategic pauses in mood to allow the audience breathing room between jokes and constant Jim Carrey face. This film was successful. I think it could have benefited from those pauses. So that should answer your question about what else I wanted, which I kind of already did in my post you responded to.

If they slowed it down, it would have been a determent to the film.
