dealing with Apple store

I need to take my MacBook to get repaired at my local Apple store. Can I just walk-in with my notebook and get it fixed? Or should I call them and make an appointment first?

It will be faster if you make an appointment. Just go to Apple.com and under retail, there should be an option to make an appointment with a "genius"

make an appointment before you leave. I went without one and ended up waiting for about 2 hours.

definitely make an appointment; if you don't and just show up, who knows, you could end up not having to wait but the chances are slim.
