With the launch of a new MacBook Air yesterday, we're seeing new all-time-low discounts on the previous-generation 2019 MacBook Air this morning. The sales we've rounded up below can be found at B&H Photo, which is providing deals for both 128GB and 256GB 2019 MacBook Air models.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with these vendors. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

To start, you can get the 128GB 2019 MacBook Air (1.6GHz, 8GB RAM) for $899.00, down from $1,099.00. This $200 off discount isn't quite the lowest deal we've tracked on this model, but it is the best currently available online, and B&H Photo has it available in all colors.

If you want a little more storage, you can get the 256GB 2019 MacBook Air (1.6GHz, 8GB RAM) for $999.00, down from $1,299.00. At $300 off, this is the best price we've ever tracked for this MacBook Air among the major Apple resellers online, and it's also available in all three colors of Gold, Silver, and Space Gray.

For those interested in the new MacBook Air models, Expercom is providing the first discounts on these laptops. You can get the entry level MacBook Air with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD for $947.96, down from $999.00. This sale also includes markdowns on the 2020 iPad Pro.

B&H Photo is also discounting some MacBook Pro models, including the 256GB 2019 13-inch MacBook Pro (2.4GHz, 8GB RAM) at $1,449.00, down from $1,799.00. This $350 discount is another lowest-ever price from B&H Photo, and it's available in Silver and Space Gray. Amazon is matching the sale for the Space Gray model.

Finally, there are a few 15-inch MacBook Pros from 2019 on sale. You can get the 256GB model (2.6GHz, 16GB RAM) for $2,029.00, down from $2,399.00; the 512GB model (2.4GHz, 8GB RAM) for $1,699.00, down from $1,999.00; and the higher-end 512GB model (2.3GHz, 16GB RAM) for $2,149.00, down from $2,399.00. These are all available in Space Gray.

"you can get the 256GB 2019 MacBook Air (1.6GHz, 8GB RAM) for $999.00, down from $1,299.00. At $300 off"

What what??? The brand new 2020 MacBook Air is $999 with 256 GB of storage! Just because you raise the price and then lower it back to normal that doesn't mean it's discount. Sorry but this reeks of misleading advertising at best and a scam at worse...

Original price is always the reference starting point.

Is it me or does the market seem saturated and folks are keeping their existing devices a bit longer?

Same models are available for less through Apple Refurb store.

1.6GHz, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage is $779
1.6GHz, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage is $819

For the $999 price they're asking for the 2019 model with 1.6GHz, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, I'd rather pay $100 more to get the new 2020 model with an upgraded 1.1GHz quad core 10th gen Intel processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and improved keyboard. That's a no brainer.

so, they've reduced the price to... in line with the new model. That's certainly a deal, but not a good one!
I wouldn't call selling last years model for the same price as the current one a "deal". Especially with the keyboard problems in the 2019 model and significant improvements in the 2020 model. Maybe if they they believed it was actually $300 cheaper or perhaps some collector who wanted to keep it in a box and not use it

My post was to imply it was a bad deal for all the reasons you give.

I don't know if thats a discount at all. Maybe someone could crunch the numbers and that could just be Apple taking out the prorated depreciation of the butterfly keyboard replacement window now being 3 instead of a full 4 years. (i.e. you are paying less because you are getting less, not a true 'discount' in the full sense).

B&H Photo? I would urge all consumers of electronic devices to steer far clear of B&H. Why? Because if you buy, say a laptop, from them and open it but decide you don't want it, too bad you're SOL as B&H does not accept returns on most open items. (Excluding cameras and camera accessories)

Well sometimes B&H has actual sales that are a deal so you have to consider if it's worth the return policy. If this was actually $300 the current retail price of the new model then I would consider the no return policy worth it.

But... the new one starts at that price with that storage... and has, you know, a working keyboard. Among other nice upgrades.
