Alas, no. With good reason: we may see an updated version later this year with an USB Type C port for charging/connection to a standard phone connector cable and a new wireless chip that includes Bluetooth 5.2 and UWB support (the latter for playback of Apple Lossless files).
This would be a killer product for me, just wish we were actually hearing anything about it. In fact, what makes you think "later this year"?

I have them aaaaaand I prefer using Beoplay H7 over them, more versatile headphone, not lacking in sound department, luxurious build, and most of all I can use them without battery.

Anyone familiar with the Amazon sells how long they’ll last? I might get these Friday if it’s $429…

I almost never see anyone wearing these at the gym, bus, travel, why? Seems odd... also they are very bulky IMO compared to others...

I see them alot...but they do appear bulky. I might give them another shot! I tried them and I did liked them, but ended up returning...might just repurchase.

Although the rumor about a Gen 2 gives me pause, but I haven't heard anything related to the Max. Only next gen AirPods

yeah a new gen max would be great! Dont like the bulk! and hard to put into the briefcase for flights, still go for my bose Qc45s

The price point would need to be $299 at this point given its issues like the lack of a power button. Plus it sure seems like the product will be discontinued at this lint. Have there been any serious rumors about AirPods Max 2?

Definitely wouldn't rule it out, though at this point it still hasn't been out nearly as long as the times between vanilla AirPod generations. The AirPods Pro have been out nigh on three years, and it doesn't seem like Apple's planning to abandon them.

I have the BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, they sound amazing. Really love them. Bought them like 2 or 3 years ago. Whenever they came out. In terms of battery life, these last around 20 hours…I’ve never worn them beyond the 50% point.

LOL, I totally don’t need another set of headphones…but tempted. I don’t know when Apple will be issuing a revised Max, but I’ll probably wait for that (if they do manage a ’lossless’ solution).

Great thing about H7 is that you can pop battery out and the most important you can use them even without battery. I had APM scratch, bought them, but I am not using them.

Love mine. Got them at a discount of $100. I don't wear them outside (out of fear of getting shot for them, live around Philadelphia). I use them for home listening. Spatial Audio is great with them.

Because it would perfectly compliment the new AirPods Pro 2. An updated Beats Fit Pro with similar features as the AirPods Pro 2 may not arrive until early 2023.

I live in a pretty nice neighborhood in downtown Manhattan. Last week a guy walking down a major cross street (23rd) was robbed by two guys who rode up to him (while he was walking on the sidewalk) on a moto-scooter (wearing complete face masks and gloves) grabbed his wrist and pulled his Rolex off his arm. Knocked him to the ground in the process. They sped off. It was all caught on camera (I think from a local store). This was midday! During the week.

Not to say that people haven't been mugged in prior years, but things that thieves can grab and run off with seem particularly high-risk right now. I wouldn't wear large expensive headphones outside nowadays. I do wear small in-ear somewhat expensive earphones out and about (Bang and Olufsen Beoplay E8 Gen3). No one recognizes them as being expensive because they're just not that popular (but sound amazing)! Also Beats Fit Pros in grey, which don't stand out that much.

I figure my H9's have quite a few more years of good battery life left in them. And I can always send them in to have the battery replaced if it comes to that down the road. I think that Bang and Olufsen is pretty good about servicing products.
