And I bet they still have a healthy profit margin for Apple.
a very health profit margin. when you send these in for repair, they don't actually repair it. they just throw it away and give you a new pair. there is no way that a pair of airpod costs more than $20 to make. they probably lie about that to reduce taxes though

I read a review on Google Maps last week. Someone left a 1-star review for the local Panda Express. I saved the text....

the woman who left the review said: (exact quote) "The drive-thru lane had almost 20 cars and I couldn't bear the wait. Lost my appetite while waiting. What was worse wat that their drive-thru lane was designed in a way that I couldn't back my car up and get out. They need to increase the 2-lane ordering system into at least 8 lanes. Wish there's a way to leave a 0-star review, but the lowest rating is 1-star, so I"m giving it a 1-star review"
I see lots of this, it is worrying on so many levels. Not least that someone that stupid is in charge of a ~2 tonne vehicle.

Not sure what your issue is. Fact, the product is old. You even said so. Fact, the batteries on AirPods degrade so 2-3 years is about when they need replaced. Fact, Apple will stop software support after 3ish years.
Fact, you’re talking codswallop!

These are earphones. Not a phone! They will continue to work as well as they did on day one after 10 years if taken care of. If you wish to replace the battery, Apple does support that and if it cannot, provides an alternative at a lower cost.

Either way, in a similar twist, I’m still using my B&W PX headphones and they are now 5 years old.

make that 3 tons.... she drives a 6,000-pound SUV. I looked up that woman's other reviews. Apparently she bought a new Suburban just 4 months ago.

She left a somewhat bad review for the Chevy dealer. Quote: "the salesman, Larry ***********, was wearing a mask and I couldn't see his face, that's not the proper way to treat customers, taking 2 stars off" (she left a 3-star review)"

What on earth can you say to that. I mean.... 😐
