If the lower end with 2TB ports had the 10th generation CPU and Intel Iris Plus G7 GPU, I would buy it with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD. What Apple released in the 2020 13” MacBook Pro is of no interest to me. The decent spec’ed one is overpriced, and the ones priced right are two generations old.

This release is obviously a stop gap before the 14” MacBook Pro is released. Apple had to do this release to stop manufacturing Macs with the defective keyboard design, as they want to limit the time frame for their liability to be replacing the malfunctioning butterfly keyboards.

Yeah I dream about buying someone's lemon for almost the same price as a new one that works like it's supposed to.

Buying a lemon from Apple? Did you even read the post or did one word just trigger you type out a thought?

Apple sells refurbished models from their page cheaper than resellers can sell the new ones. Also, Apple doesn't send out their refurbs to any of them. Buying a refurb from Apple is as good as buying new. You qualify for the same warranty.

I think Apple offers the most right? Gazelle is a rip off for my 2015 MBP with 2.7 GHz i5/8gb RAM/128gb SSD.

For some models, they can offer up to $1760 in trade-in credit. I would imagine it would have to be the previous model number and what kind of Mac it is to determine the amount.

Refurb= LEMON

Refurb=repaired and fixed. Works just as good as any new one. Repeating something doesn't make it true.
