Solid deals have returned for the AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro on Amazon, offering up to $69 off these popular headphones.

AirPods 2

You can get the AirPods 2 for $99.99, down from $129.00. This remains the best price we've seen on the AirPods 2 since their all-time low sale during Prime Day. At just $10 higher today, this is still a solid second-best price.

This is the model of AirPods that comes with the Wired Charging Case. Apple discontinued the AirPods 2 with the Wireless Charging Case so we haven't seen any notable deals on that accessory in months.

AirPods Pro with MagSafe

Secondly, Amazon has the AirPods Pro with MagSafe Charging Case for $179.99, down from $249.00. This is the second-best price we've ever tracked on the new AirPods Pro.

The new AirPods Pro launched in 2021, and are essentially the same as the 2019 model with the addition of the new MagSafe Charging Case. Shoppers should note that we are expecting new AirPods Pro at Apple's "Far Out" event tomorrow, but there likely won't be any significant deals for a long time.

We track sales for every model of the AirPods in our Best AirPods Deals guide, so be sure to bookmark that page while you shop around for the wireless headphones.

Weird. We have 4 sets in our home, all over a year old and haven’t had one issue.
I’ve got 3 sets in my home, all replaced once for sound distortion (like a blown speaker) and 2 of the replacements are failing. There’s an entire repair program that has been repeatedly extended for these overpriced faulty earbuds. Glad your pairs are doing well, but I wouldn’t recommend them.

Maybe the alleged 2nd gens will be better.

The link leads to a paperback edition of $99 "Airpods guide" by Felix Achen, that can (and will) mistakenly be taken for a real thing.

Interesting to say the least. You never encountered the crackling sound issue where Apple created a service program for to fix it?

I did encounter that issue and did take advantage of the service program. It was annoying to have to do it in the first place but the replacement was easy and now they are amazing. I was disappointed originally but now I see why everyone loves them. Hopefully the new ones will be good out of the gate.

Hard to recommend the pros at this point - the design is just pretty crappy overall. Unreliable as hell.

You got a bad pair and should get them checked out. I had a bum pair originally too but now I love them.

Also sad it’s necessary on something so expensive but foam eartips help a lot.

Yeah they had 3 years to think about it so hopefully they got it fixed. Great piece of technology though. Can’t wait to try them but I might wait it out till December to see what the general users experiences are.

Supposedly the issue was with only some of the initial production run. So yeah waiting a bit for some feedback and good sales is probably a good idea.

It's not just mine. I've got multiple other people who've had issues.

The base AirPods were fine, as are my Maxes.

Yeah when I bought them in 2019 they felt magical for the first couple of weeks then they started to degrade rapidly. Also after the first firmware update it kinda felt Apple changed the soundstage of the pods. More base less treble. Anyway, can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for us tomorrow!

I would not recommend the AirPods Pro its very easy to get ear infections you have to be cleaning them extremely often
