The Apple Pencil 2 has hit a new all-time low price on Amazon today, available for $89.00, down from $129.00. The accessory is in stock and available to deliver as soon as October 26 for Prime delivery, or October 29 for free delivery.

The Apple Pencil 2 is compatible with the following iPads: iPad mini (6th generation), iPad Air (4th generation and later), 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation and later), and 11-inch iPad Pro (1st generation and later). The second generation Apple Pencil can also magnetically attach and pair to the iPad Pro, iPad mini, and iPad Air.

If you have the newest iPad Pro models, the second-generation Apple Pencil can now be detected while hovering up to 12mm above the display. This allows users to see a preview of their drawing before they make it, and with Scribble text fields automatically expand when the pencil gets near the screen.

I have my 2nd Gen from release in late 2018. It does not hold a charge as long as it used to. This seems like a good deal to get a replacement. My local Amazon will have it to me this afternoon. Thanks for the heads-up MR!

Nice. I had one I ordered last week sitting on my desk in anticipation of my new M2 iPad pro this week. Just initiated a return of that unopened unit and snagged this new better price.
As a seller, this situation (return started due to an item going on sale soon after a customer purchase) is less than ideal...but I get it too being afraid they may miss the deal if the seller doesn't respond quickly enough (or says no). Personally, I recommend reaching out to the seller/company you purchased from first to see if they'll price match. Saves the hassle of the return and the customer gets the better price. Win win.

Also gives some insight in to their customer service for any future needs. []Good companies will price match due to the mentioned win win scenario. It is a small gesture, but such a win with customer satisfaction. I occasionally see return reasons on Amazon being 'Better Price Available' but never heard from that customer. Likely would have refunded the difference with no problem had they just reached out.

Ha. So, you can get the gen 2 pencil for $89 while people buying the new 10th gen iPad can pay $99 for the old pencil.
Hey, there's a big difference! The old pencil comes with a dongle. That means extra cost. Don't diss it!

lol

I’ll keep this in mind. I’ve never thought about it from the seller’s point of view. Wouldn’t hurt to ask.

Good point of view. I know contacting Amazon won't do anything about a price drop. I bet a lot of people don't know they can reach out to the seller directly. I didn't really realize it until just recently, and I've had Prime for many years.

Get a Pencil if you have an iPad. You can use it to edit pictures on a Mac (Photos app on Mac...choose edit...select markup...right-side of markup menu bar should be option to select your iPad). 🤨
