Following a few deals on the nano-texture glass version of the Apple Studio Display last month, today Amazon has the standard glass option of the display for $1,349.99, down from $1,599.00. Amazon provides an estimated June 6 date for deliveries to most United States residences.

This deal is offering a second-best price on the standard glass version of the Apple Studio Display, and it's only available with the basic tilt-adjustable stand option. As of writing, we aren't tracking any notable discounts on the nano-texture glass Apple Studio Display.

The main difference between the standard glass and the upgrade to nano-texture glass options has to do with minimizing glare, with Apple stating that the nano-texture option is ideal for workspaces with bright lighting. Both versions feature a 27-inch 5K retina display, a built-in A13 Bionic chip to power the camera and audio systems, a 12-megapixel f/2.4 Ultra Wide camera, and more.

I would buy it if it was $500.

I mean... A13 Bionic? That has to be at least 3 years old by now.
My Apple Thunderbolt Display which I bought years ago was $999. I considered that a very expensive purchase. I did need new monitor but price-wise it was not justifiable to shell out that money unless I thought of it more as a indulgent gift to myself, which I did.

Can't see shelling out $1.3k for this monitor. I'd consider it for less than $1k.

This thing should be between 799 to 899. Apple really was trying to take advantage of the Apple logo clout on this one but not many were fooled.
There isn't even an Apple chin on this one. That must be the cause of poor sales :O

Sadly, there's been "years ago" inflation over the years, along with Apple salary and benefits increases and other operating costs over the years.

It's where we are today. Apple is not immune.

The ASD is the most triggering Apple device on the market. Really frustrates people in both directions.

Order placed, Costco. Wanted the VESA mount one, not willing to spend another $250 or so for it. Done.
