Apple didn't lower it, retailers did.Classic. Making one display obsolete and now "coincidentally" lower the price of the newer models.
For 60hz refresh rate in mind 2023? Not even $500. For this price, I would expect a refresh of 240hz.I would buy it if it was $500.
I mean... A13 Bionic? That has to be at least 3 years old by now.
I dont care so much about refresh rate, just quality. For 60hz refresh rate in mind 2023? Not even $500. For this price, I would expect a refresh of 240hz.

Yeah, we need at least an M2 Ultra.I would buy it if it was $500.

Same here. If it was a 32" I'd part with something around $2500+/-. Couldn't see spending a lot more for a Mac Mini and the same display I've had for years with my 5k iMac. So instead I went way cheap and got a 32" LG 4K for $650. No it's a not "retina" but I get a ton of work done with reasonable satisfaction and my ROI feels about right. Of course everyone's got a different perspective on ROI/perceived value.Would've bought one instantly if it was 32". The XDR Pro is bit too expensive for my taste and needs.
Yeah I ended up going with 32" Samsung M7 for ~$220 right after this was released to wait it out for a better option in the future. XDR Pro is so tempting but I don't do anything important enough on my computer to justify the costSame here. If it was a 32" I'd part with something around $2500+/-. I feel if they release a new 32, they will remove the actual XDR completely, you know they update it. But well the third party seller should down the price.Apple needs to drop the price of the XDR by 50% Please!!!! 😂😂
My Apple Thunderbolt Display which I bought years ago was $999
To be even more fair, salary has not increased like inflation so it is still more expensive per individual unless you’re in the C-suite or maybe a tech worker ;-)To be fair, $1349.99 is $3 and a gumball cheaper than your Thunderbolt display.

Yeah, release a 120Hz XDR and discontinue the current one.I feel if they release a new 32, they will remove the actual XDR completely, you know they update it. But well the third party seller should down the price.
I meant more like an A15 or A16, for that giant priceYeah, we need at least an M2 Ultra.
One in the computer, one in the monitor. One in the mouse, while we're at it.
But why ? Do you think the monitor is ... "slow" ?I meant more like an A15 or A16, for that giant price
No, but it makes sense to put a good chip in it because of the giant price, costing around twice as much as an iPhone with the same chipBut why ? Do you think the monitor is ... "slow" ?
I would agree if it had smart capabilities like the Samsung M8 for example. No, but it makes sense to put a good chip in it because of the giant price, costing around twice as much as an iPhone with the same chip
