I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of these Clover Sport Bands. Wonder why they make such ****** iPad covers that deteriorate in a few months.
And silicone iPhone cases that while pretty at first) deteriorate and chip with time and easily allow the iPhone chassis to get scratched (has happened for me on both iPhone 12 and now iPhone 13 mini).

Meanwhile these Watch bands seem virtually indestructible by comparison.

It is my understanding that cases and watch bands are made from different materials. Silicon for cases and something called fluromaster for the watch sport bands. (And a slightly different material from fluromaster for solo loops.)

This sale temps me to pick up an Apple Watch just to try out. But, honestly, I don’t know what I would do with it. I’m really not interested in the health monitoring and I have a collection of mechanical watches that I love wearing.

I just wish the Apple marketing machine would release a stainless steel GPS-only version. Their rationale is that if a customer is prepared to pay for a quality case then they can surely bend over a little more and pay for the cellular capability even if they don't want it...

At this point we have a new one coming in what, 2-3 months? I am betting we see inventory clearing, as wel always do, around that time.

All I want is the sapphire screen... I'd love to pay like $100 just for that. Don't even mind the aluminum. In fact, I'd take a green aluminum with sapphire screen today, probably.

I pulled the trigger on a 41mm model. I want to see if I’ll actually use it over time.

Got this exact one at $329 around Christmas and love it. Upgraded from an S5 which was gifted to family. Love this thing, the green is my perfect favorite shade and like other commenters have noted, the band is perfect and smooth and seems indestructible like kryptonite.

I have the Green Aluminium Series 7 45mm with sports band, and I kind of regret my colour choice. It was the only colour in stock at the time and the prospect of getting it quickly swayed my decision.

The green sports band in particular is pretty ugly. The watch case itself looks pretty good, although the colour is much darker than it appears in Apple's photos (almost black with just a hint of green). I'm planning to get a new band which will hopefully improve the look, but haven't been able to decide on which yet.

In hindsight, I had waited a bit and got the starlight colour!
