The 64GB Wi-Fi iPad Air is available in Pink and Purple at this price; the Blue color is matching this price but it's in refurbished condition. Compared to previous sales, the $559.00 price tag is a second-best price on the 2022 iPad Air, and each model is in stock and ready to ship from Amazon today.

Apple updated the iPad Air lineup this past March, with the M1 chip, new color options, Touch ID, and a 10.9-inch edge-to-edge display. Our full Deals Roundup has more information on the latest Apple-related sales and bargains.

This device shouldn't exist with 64GB. It should be the 128GB at this price tag.
Everyone I know who purchased the 64GB or less has regret it; a few months later they have realized they need more storage.
Too bad they didn't listed to my recommendations.
Let me be the first to ruin your streak. I have a 64GB model and I don't regret it at all. Have all my apps and still have 25GB free, even with downloaded music, Outlook, downloaded magazines, etc. I keep a large selection of movies and TV shows on these and just plug one in when I need it. I don't need 256GB of media on my iPad at all times.

While I really like that USB flash drive (I might just get one)...not every one wants a dongle hanging from their device. Plus how does that work if I need to charge my iPad?

I purchased the 64GB last summer, and I have half of it available. I know I may be in a minority, but 64 GB is fine for my uses.
For those needing more, I’d say the base IPad Pro is a better deal than the IPad Air with upgraded storage.

So I’m guessing from now on every time any article mentions iPad or M1, most of the comments will be people complaining that their iPads still do exactly what they bought them for and can’t use a new feature! 😂 It’s starting to get more contagious and annoying than Covid 19! 😉

My current recommendation to friends and family is to buy a 256GB Air. Yes, an 11 inch Pro is only $50 more, but it only starts at 128GB. As time goes on an iPads become potential replacements for laptops for many people, I recommend the most storage for the lowest price so that they can buy the keyboard with it. With 256GB of storage few people will ever have to consider any storage considerations over the life of their iPad.

It's a good deal. Amazon had them the same price last week. I got one to move up from a base iPad 7 for daily use. It was a no brainer. It runs circles around the iPad 7. It is indeed ready for iPadOS 16 and Stage Manager. Please take 10 seconds or so to get some accurate information.

Well, you are one of the few... Let's talk again in a year.

It's very small, and it's only there when you need it. Again, that's my personal use case. I keep my iPad charged so it's almost always full when I use it. Or, you could just copy what you want off the thumb drive to the iPad directly and watch your movies or what-have-you and then be able to charge your iPad.

I can't really imagine what people with a 512GB iPad Pro keeps on their device except large media collections, so in my case a $40 thumb drive (or two) is an affordable alternative.

I might add that if you're one to complain about something "hanging from their device" that the charger cord does just that.

64GB owner on another iPad verison - suits my needs and for my kids just fine! I have iCloud storage so no worries about photos or videos taking up space. Have yet to run low on storage.

So that's the one that doesn't support new Stage Manager because it has too little memory, right? No wonder it got cheaper...
I think you got it confused with swap memory. The iPad Air 5 64gb doesn't support swap memory due to the low storage, but it still supports Stage Manager.

I’m sure I’ll be quite happy a year from now. My main use is reading books and journal articles and marking on those. I chose IPad Air over IPad because of the better display (True tone).
I’m sure I’ll have some more articles on my iPad a year from now, so I guess that’ll take up maybe another 100MB. Plenty of space left!
