Loving the price on the ceramic. Unfortunately in my line of work it would mean I could only wear it on the weekends.

I had the Series 0 and now the 3 and it's a fantastic upgrade. No complaints. $300 off is a great deal.
That said I plan to move to the Series 4 based on rumors even though I planned to wait 2 years or more again. If the full price of a Series 4 is not for you jump on the 3 discounts it is a great watch.

This is closer to the price point that Apple should be targeting. Combination of original price $750 for SS and annual IOS updates, makes this an premium watch for something that may have a lifespan of 3-5 years.

I do understand the lifespan of an Apple watch. It's a functional extension of your phone and disposable. It's not a piece of jewelry with any keepsake value. I'm ok with my aluminum AW3.

Is the ceramic more fragile?
[doublepost=1536338813][/doublepost]Man, I’m not even tempted by a series 3 at this point... after how slow my series 0 was and the series 1 AppleCare replacement is, I don’t have any faith that the Series 3 will be able to keep up in another year when WatchOS 5 starts really using that LTE connection.

That said... these discounts are a harsh reminder of how much a SS series 4 will cost. I’m not assuming Apple has a price break in mind with that bigger screen either... if they follow their trend, all models might even get a price bump.

I picked up the series 3 42 w/ Cellular during the Nike sale and I love it. I couldnt pass on the price.

As a happy Series 0 Stainless with Milanese owner, I'd do the Series 3 Black Stainless with Milanese deal in a heartbeat if the Series 4 did not offer an upgrade I find worth paying the MSRP for (especially since I expect to get years of use from the Series 4 as I have from my S0).

$449 for SS Black w black Milanese s3 with LTE is pretty solid! Considering that band is worth $150 alone

Still that a lot of Dough for watches

I’m used to the $200 range for s0 years ago and $150 for s1 last year barely used on Craigslist

Fa-fa-fa-fa-fashion. The typical :apple:watch owner uses them as a discrete way to check texts and tweets. A smaller group wears the watch to signal their prosperity and technical expertise. It's obvious now that Ahrendts is pushing for customers to own more than one watch with new models churning the old on a regular basis.

It’s amazing how my local BestBuy stores can have an abundance of stock of an item the day before the flash sale. And the day after the flash. But the day of the flash sale, their stock disappears.

Amazingly there were no Apple watches for local pickup in my area when they were on sale. Sale became over, and now they will sell me one at regular price to pick up today! :rolleyes:o_O
