Fa-fa-fa-fa-fashion. The typical :apple:watch owner uses them as a discrete way to check texts and tweets. A smaller group wears the watch to signal their prosperity and technical expertise. It's obvious now that Ahrendts is pushing for customers to own more than one watch with new models churning the old on a regular basis.
Apple has become sad.......so sad.......my journey started in 1984 with my MacPlus and is slowly coming to an end:(

It’s amazing how my local BestBuy stores can have an abundance of stock of an item the day before the flash sale. And the day after the flash. But the day of the flash sale, their stock disappears.

Amazingly there were no Apple watches for local pickup in my area when they were on sale. Sale became over, and now they will sell me one at regular price to pick up today! :rolleyes:o_O
You mean the same Best Buy that got busted for the intranet scam? They seem like they’re always on the up and up. I’ve found the mysterious disappearing store stock as well. I’ve had friends tell me about game deals. I check the site for stock and no one local has it. I go to the store itself and they’re everywhere.

I have had a situation where a Mac was on sale cause of a flash sale. Like $300 or $400 off or something. Anyhow they had the available stock when I was in the store. But they said in store the price is full price. Online you can get the flash sale price if you buy it there. So anyhow I go online on my phone from the store to buy the Mac and do store pick up while I’m there. And it says online no stores in my area have that Mac in stock. This is while I’m in the store. And they say they have plenty stock...

That’s insane. I’m sure they try to BS their way out too.

I spoke to a supervisor who said they could not honor flash sale prices in store. That I had to buy it online. And if it showed online there was no stock for in store pick up. The local store could not do anything about it. But I’ve notice my local Bestbuy does this with every flash sale. They will direct you online. Where it conveniently says no online pick up in your area. Even if the store has stock available. It’s happen a few times there was a sale.

Wow - that’s pretty disgusting trickery.

I’m pretty sure I’ve done a “price match” with their online store, while I was in store. I think it was for a Norelco razor. But I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a “flash sale price” that I was matching.

Certainly doesn’t encourage me to shop at Best Buy in the future!
