Best Buy's newest Apple Sale Event is discounting a trio of Beats by Dre wireless headphones, Mac notebooks, and the iPad Pro. This includes notable low prices on the Studio3 Wireless Headphones and Powerbeats Pro, as well as ongoing best deals on the iPad Pro in both 11-inch and 12.9-inch models.

For the Powerbeats Pro, Best Buy's $199.99 price tag is a match for the lowest-ever price seen on these headphones (also available at Amazon). On sale, the Studio3 Wireless Headphones are typically around $200, so Best Buy's $189.99 is another notable discount going on this week.

We've also collected a few deals on the 15-inch MacBook Pro, old MacBook Air, and the iPad Pro. For the tablet, Best Buy is matching prices previously introduced on Amazon earlier this week, while also providing a few lowest-ever discounts not available anywhere else for high-end models with 1TB of storage and cellular support.

$150 off the 256GB 12.9” Pro is a good deal, but Micro Center had the same deal a month or two after its release. That makes the deal look like less of a deal.

The best price page never mentions Target, who sells some apple products. With a red card, you save 5% so often Target is the lowest price for things like AppleTV which rarely go on sale.

The ATV 4K was $170 for us with free delivery or 2 hour pickup. So we had it same day for $170.

And even on sale you get 5% off so when they had a good sale on an iPad last year, we got the good deal x0.95.

Yeah I picked one up in March of 2019 for $150 off (new) on Amazon. And I felt like that was awesome.

This is a joke. Excellent wireless noise canceling earphones/earpods are available on Amazon/RAV for $60.
I've been using them for almost a year. They're great. I stream my 15,000 and growing track library to them from my 256GB iPod Touch. Great replacement for my aging Classics.
Why anyone would pay the freight for Beats or equivalent stuff from Apple is beyond me.
Somebody at Beats must have something on someone high up at Apple to warrant having bought this Beats bunch.

When Apple bought Beats, it was reported that the motive for the purchase was to get into the streaming music business via Beats Music, not to make money from sales of the headphones, etc.

(Incidentally, someone associated with Dr. Dre claimed that he became the first hip hop billionaire when Apple bought Beats but I recently saw a headline that said Jay-Z just became the first hip hop billionaire. ?)

I tried a pair of Beats Studio 3’s on at Best Buy today. $189 still seemed a steep asking price. If it had a USB C (or lightning - since it doesn’t seem like USB C became the standard for wireless headphones until 2018/19 on) and either decent sound or decent ANC I might consider it.

The new Solo Pros (on ear) sounded like a big step forward, though. Still too much money for what you can get from most competitors.

Anyways, cool story, I know.
