I've noticed lately more and more posts on the front page being about deals on AirPods, deals on MacBooks, deals on things not even made by Apple (yes, I understand that they are things that can be used with Apple devices), and I'm wondering what the constituency thinks about these? I understand MR needs a way to make money, but I almost lament the removal of the sidebar and wish that all of these posts could be placed in a defined area separate from the news. What do the MR users think? Do they bother you? Do they not? Do they clog the homepage? Are you able to just scroll by them without them ruining the tuna noodle cassarole you brought for lunch?

Perhaps I'm just being a miserable curmudgeon, but I’ve also felt lately that half the posts on MacRumours are just about various deals and discounts. Whilst it's nice to know when a product is on sale, maybe we could we get the 'page 2' rumours column back so that this kind of article can be categorised with a lower priority?

Mods suggested I come to the site feedback sub forum and it’s the first topic I see :p

I do appreciate there’s probably a lot more deals flying around right now though because sites are trying to juice sales in this unusual economy.
