Flexibits this month is offering 75 percent off Flexibits Premium for new customers, including access to both Fantastical and Cardhop. This offer will run through March 31 on the Flexibits website, and the subscription supports apps across macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with some of these vendors. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

When you follow this link, you'll be prompted to create a Flexibits account and then begin your 14 day free trial of Flexibits Premium. Afterwards, you can pick from an Individual or Family plan; the 75 percent off sale can apply to either option.

Individual Plans billed yearly are priced at $9.96 (originally $39.96), or you can opt for the monthly option at $1.25 per month (originally $4.99). Family plans billed yearly are priced at $16.20 (originally $65.04), and $2.00 when billed monthly (originally $7.99).

This sale is for 75 percent off your next purchase on Flexibits, so whatever option you choose will be the only time you can get this deal. Given these parameters, buying for a full year will save you more money. After the year is over, Flexibits Premium will return to its regular price, or you can cancel.

Fantastical is a calendar app that can sync across apps for Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Similarly, Cardhop can sync across Apple devices and provides a more in-depth contact management platform.

Obligatory post reminding that flexibits pulled a bait and switch on fanatical users. Some purchased fantastical on 3 platforms and then lost functionality when it went subscription. They'll never get another dollar from me.
Customers of Fantastical 2.x can use 3.x without subscription. 2.x features are unlocked, along with few 3.x features. My quibble is that the UI is cluttered with "Flexibits Premium" nag icons.

I wish these 2.x features are available as In App Purchase.

Sometimes I think some people use these apps that pulled the rug under their previous customers still out of spite.

Unfortunately, you don't have the monopoly on what people may like or want. I tried several calendar apps in the past, and Fantastical is way better than everything I've used previously. I paid for Fantastical 2 back then, and used the exact same features for almost a year after the introducing of Fantastical 3. So I don't know what they did to pull the rug under their customers, I had a Fantastical 3 UI with all the features of Fantastical 2 without any subscription required. Recently, I wanted to have all the most recent features, so I've subscribed, and glad I did it so far. I know many developers that were very greedy and not grateful of their previous customers when moving to a subscription model, but I don't understand the hate towards Fantastical, as I never felt I was loosing features over what I paid for in Fantastical 2.

You don't like Fantastical or their pricing? Good for you, there are plenty of apps. But I don't know why people who still use it and like it should be judged.

Dislike this comment all you want, I don't care.

Huh ?

I used Fantastical before too.

Not judging anyone

For 10$ I’ll try it again, had 2.0 paid for apps, but then all the changes as others have noted pretty much turned me off to any further subscription… I guess they are betting people will get used to it and not want to cancel or FORGET to cancel. First order of duty with setting it up is to SET A CALENDAR reminder to cancel it next year. ;-)

Not so. I too paid for iOS app and the new version does not work on Apple Watch, which is where I used it most. I use BusyCal on Mac due Smart Calendar views and custom list views.

$0.83 a month (or, I suppose $0.79 if you include the free trial!) for such a fully featured app is an absolute steal.

I've been using Fantastical almost every day for about 9 years now (had to look that up - the app was already several old when I got my first iPhone!). When I think of how much time and frustration this app has saved me vs the relative pittance I've paid for it over the years, it must be some of the best money I've ever spent.

I understand that the switch from one-off purchase to subscription may not have been handled perfectly. But these things are tricky to get right and at least for me, Flexibits has a lot of good will in the bank.

I just *yesterday* decided to take out a subscription (so I'm still in the 14-day trial period). Previously I had been using F3 in F2 mode - but the new openings feature pushed me over the line.

So I just went and created a new account with a different email address and got the discount :)

I'll never trust this company again. They burned my bridge when they removed my PAID Fantastical2 app, then shoved and unwanted, crippled, nagging replacement in front of me alone with an offer to give them perpetual money. Nope, never, done. I'm using a different app now.
