$50 off? More of an insult than anything. Buy from Costco or Apple, get money back and get a safer return policy.

There’s two ways to look at Apple:

1. If you’re a software developer, or a video engineer, or an audio engineer, or you’re doing CAD drawings, they make the best laptops on the market. It’s fully worth the $5,000 for your business. It’s an absolutely fair and honest price.

2. If you’re anyone else, it’s ridiculously overpriced and absolute overkill to ogle photos on Facebook.

Given that the majority of Twitter users fall into the latter category, the general feedback from the internet is always going to be misleading.

I’m not in a great mood today :)

Let us know how everyone can get the Education discount of $200
1) you need to be in school, a teacher, or have children in school is my understanding.
2) Go here and purchase your mac:
3) if you have the Apple Card enjoy 12 interest free payments and 3% Apple Cash back
4) trade in works well too if you have a used apple MacBook

My $2499 laptop got the edu discount $200, $1210 trade for my 2019 16” MBP, 3% cash back $33. Effective/Upgrade price (pre-tax): $1056

Initial review: I used the laptop for an hour this morning and the battery showed 100%. Wow. Speed wise I haven’t pushed anything difficult at it, but the fans haven’t come on and it’s still cool to the touch. I love the screen to edge, the industrial body is underwhelming but I love the etched MacBook Pro on the back. I hope to use this machine for 5 years at a minimum.
