Do the 1TB 11" models also benefit from the increased RAM, same as the 1TB 12.9" models?

If so, this is a great deal if you need 1TB of storage and don't want to miss out on the increased RAM of the newest model.

FYI, Tiger Direct also has good deals on the 2018 512GB iPad Pros. If you want a lot of space, but 1TB is overkill.

$900 for the 12.9” (got mine last week)
$800 for the 11”

Prices are only for WiFi-Only Silver models. Free Shipping.

Good now I can put my whole 4k movie and tv show collection on my iPad so I have something to watch when my power goes out!

why would I need a terabyte on an iPad? most of the things done with it are cloud based....
Because there are specific tasks that need large storage space on board. Such as video editing. It's certainly not for most people though.

This is for the previous, not current, generation. Given there was a recent update, ther will not likely be a new iPad Pro until 2021. We may see the lower end iPads updated.

Hm, tempting. $300 more than the 256 GB refurb I just ordered from Apple, but comes with the 6 GB of memory so more future proof. Enough storage to keep my rapidly growing photo library of my baby.

I dunno though... 1 TB is a hell of a lot.

This is a great deal??? 6gigs of RAM and one Terabyte of storage compared to the latest iPad Pro with less storage and same processor. The only difference would be the cameras but that’s not really a big deal

Very tempting but as a video editor, I'm curious to see what the iPad hardware requirements will be for Final Cut Pro on the iPad. According to Jon Prosser it's coming at some point. If they don't release it until after the A14 iPads come out it may be worth waiting. Maybe we'll find out more during WWDC next week.

More future proof for apps and maybe general stability, but I bet when Apple end iOS support for it, they'll end support for all the 2018 models at once regardless of RAM amounts. But then again, the 2020 model is barely any better with just one extra GPU core enabled in addition to more RAM on the lower storage-tier models so they might all go at once.

I’m sure many others have reasons, too. Some just want the 6 GB RAM.

Welp, Apple just demoed FinalCut Pro running on the A12Z chip that's in the 2020 iPad Pro (but not the 2018 A12X). Here's hoping it won't be long until they release it for the iPad!
