Great deal. But 40mm is too small. Apple should discontinue it. The minimum screen size for us to be able to read text and the UI better would be 44mm. Even then, they should bump up the screen size.

As a man, I don't find 38mm too small. Doesn't bother me at all. Worn it for years.

many women want a larger display too

Do they, though?

Well the good news, you don’t work for ‘TimCookandCo.😁 seems like they have a strong grasp on the wearable market, especially with the Apple Watch. Everybody has different size wrists, The 44 mm might be too large on somebody with smaller wrists, rather that be male or female, there’s a reason Apple offers both 40/44 mm.

As someone will small wrist, I completely disagree. The 40mm is perfect. I see far too many people rocking the larger size and 40mm would look better.

I think this size is correct for my wrist (that was actually the 38mm)

40mm is just too small for everyone regardless of people's varied wrist size, male or female

Ok, noted. Maybe you should pass this along to Apple and see what they have to say, as I don’t think anyone here needs your convincing something that isn’t credible.

Edit: The OP edited their reply above, Where it doesn’t reflect what they said prior.

40mm is just too small for everyone regardless of people's varied wrist size, male or female. As an analogy, 40mm is like having the size of a spec of dust (granted, this analogy is extreme, but you get the point) - too small
Are you really gonna double down on this nonsense? This must be one of those, I'm going to be "hot taek" guy and state something that is obviously wrong just to rile the crowd. It's an okay stay-at-home gig I guess. Doesn't pay well though.

Eh. Speak for yourself. The 44 mm makes me look like a child wearing his dad’s gigantic watch.

40 mm is perfect for my wrist.

full all the ring .. then 40 may seem bigger to you..;)

I have a collection of regular watches, ranging in size from 38mm to 42mm. All round, so the comparison isn't exact, but I'm definitely much more comfortable wearing 38-40mm watches than I am wearing the chunkier 41 and 42mm ones - at least, when I'm wearing longer sleeves. With short sleeves, a little extra there is fine as it doesn't get caught on anything.

That said, I also have relatively small wrists - about 6.75" around (~17cm for the rest of the world), and the distance wrist-bone to wrist-bone is relatively small. Any watch with lugs longer than about 48mm has a tendency to hang off the ends of my wrist. People with larger and flatter wrists would be better fitted with the larger watch.

As a point of comparison, a Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso, arguably the grand-daddy of rectangular watches, comes in a medium at 40 x 24mm, and a large at 46 x 27. I'd probably rock the medium, if I could afford or justify it...

I have a stainless steel series 0 and would love a new one but they've priced the steel+sapphire combination so far out of reach and I just can't settle for aluminum and glass.

Took advantage of this deal a few weeks and I’m glad it’s back. I upgraded from my old Series 3 and it was worth it for the new watch faces and slimmer profile.

Yes that 40mm looks good on your wrist and I like the blue band.

hmmm there's some room for 44mm on ur wrist. The physical dimensions of 44mm isnt actually too much larger

Here was the larger size when they first were launched. I feel like the 38mm definitely fit better. This looked ever so slightly large IMO. I was always someone who would wear a watch, so the fashion aspect was important.
