Following last week's introduction of a rare deal on the blue HomePod mini, B&H Photo now has the yellow color also on sale for $89.99, down from $99.00. As of now, only blue and yellow are being discounted and only B&H Photo has the discount, with free expedited shipping available for both options.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with some of these vendors. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

This still isn't an all-time low price on the HomePod mini, but it remains the only major markdown that we've seen on the speaker this year. The last major discount was during the 2021 holiday season, and since then deals have been nearly nonexistent. If you're interested in either the blue or yellow version of the HomePod mini, be sure to visit B&H Photo before the sale ends.

9$ Savings !!! OMG !!!
In all seriousness now... That's a lot of money for a bad speaker.
For little more you get a portable one from JBL with far better sound and without all the siri crap.

As Churchill once said, never let a good crisis go to waste… 🇺🇦

Has blue and yellow become somewhat of a cash cow?
How do you draw a conclusion between a probably temporary price reduction of an Apple product on US Amazon and the invasion and war on Ukraine that is currently going on? Seems far fetched to me.

Why does the HomePod mini photo and marketing campaign continue to hide the permanent, non removable wire? Maybe it’s because they want you to believe this is a “portable” speaker. UPDATE: It’s not! Go with a ultimate ears WONDERBOOM 2 or MEGABOOM. You can thank me later.

Looks like you are new to Apple's product pages. They don't like showing wires on any product, even if they are not portable. If you look at the product pages for Apple TV, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro etc. None of them shows wires despite the fact they they are obviously not wireless.

I was about to assume that it meant that these 2 were the least popular colours of the HomePod and they had excess stock, but this makes more sense and now makes me despise the company for making such a low-brow political virtue-signal

The only thing “invading” Ukraine is every single penny of my tax money

True, though with portable little speakers being everywhere, I'd say the Homepod Mini is an Apple product where it is not obvious that it is not wireless.

You must live in Russia then, because the fact that the country is being invaded is otherwise pretty obvious - and any other country would have more things to spend their taxpayer money on.

But if you can provide answers to my original post, I’m all ears.

Yep, I sprung on this believing it was wireless. It has to be plugged nearby. But I am enjoying having it. Still using my Alexa Dot too.

False analogy: In every device you mentioned, the cords are removable & in no way, shape or form does the product imply “portable”. No, not a newbie…I’ve been using Apple products ever since you were an itch in your daddy’s drawers.
