Woot today introduced a new deal on Apple's Magic Trackpad 2, available for $84.99 in new condition, down from $129.99. This is one of the best prices we've ever tracked on the accessory.

They should update this accessories and drop the price. I want to buy a Magic Mouse but the price is crazy
You're not really missing anything. The Magic Mouse might be one of the prettiest mice on the market, but the way to charge it, and the ergonomics aren't good. It's too flat.

Dayumn. However, I am not in the US, so by paying for the shipping the cost will be just the same as buying in the local store, around 150$.

That's a proper good price for what's simply the best trackpad out there.
100% agree and endorse. This trackpad is still the best of the best. I ditched the mouse for my Mac a long time ago.

USB-C or no thanks.
While I'm hoping this will change soon, this isn't enough to knock it from being the best trackpad. It's not something that needs constant charging so it's not something that needs to live in your bag or anything.

After I started using a trackpad, I decided I'd never go back, and yes this is a good price for a very nice device. The only mice I have now are for non-Mac PCs.

USB-C? Get over it already. It'll change, and soon, but you already have a boatload of lighting cables (don't lie), just use one of those for an hour or two once a month or so.

And learn gestures to get the most out of your trackpad!

I don’t have any that plug into my computer (usb-c to lightning) which might be helpful, no? Why would I buy this if a new one is coming soon as you say?

Still about $35-$40 overpriced. Trackpads are terrible pointing devices unless you are dealing with very limited space. And if that is the case a large standalone unit like this one seems an odd luxury since demands almost as much space on your desk as a mouse, you are only saving about 2" compared to an average mousepad and a mouse can be used in less space than that without a pad.

Might have to pick one of these up for when I can’t use my “so magical you can’t use while charging” mouse 🤣

Jk I use a 10 dollar Logitech for those times

Great device.
My only issue is with battery life between charges.
Last about two weeks between charges - compared to it's brethren keyboard which is 2-3 months....

The Magic Trackpad 2 is one of the best things coming from Apple.

Unfortunately it has a different tilt angle compared to the Aluminum USB Keyboard + Numpad. It just does not sit well together when placed side by side.

The Al USB Keyboard + Numpad is still one of the better keyboards from Apple. I wish they'd come up with an updated version for USB-C.

I wondered if there was an inconsistency between the slightly older model with the slightly squarer corners and the newer ones with the rounder corners so I just dug out my older ones to test.

I can set up any combination of them, older keyboard, new trackpad, new keyboard (with Touch ID), older trackpad, they all sit perfectly next to each other with no difference in tilt whatsoever.

Unless you're talking about the much older keyboard, the wired one with the USB ports at each end when yes, there's a difference.

I've tried using my trackpad buffed up against the keyboard like that and it just doesn't work for me at all, I have to move my arm out away from my body to shift from the keyboard to the trackpad. I find it far easier to pivot my arm out at the elbow to reach the trackpad and then for 'up' to be naturally straight up, the trackpad needs to be at an angle. It's just more natural.

Like this.

going to note to anyone that uses external monitors over 120hz; this trackpad reaches 165hz polling rate. It will look really laggy
