Wow $2700 for an 85 inch neo is a great deal. I have the 2021 65 inch model and the picture is stunning.
I don’t think I have a room in my house that is big enough to put an 85 inch tv in. It would cover almost an entire wall!

Samsung panels may be one of the best in the industry, but what's about the calibration and software? I'll stick with the Sony BRAVIA line.

I am not gonna shame anyone if they can't afford a higher end TV, but I do think it is naive for someone to say one isn't worth it without ever trying it themselves.

I've tried and seen really nice high-end setups. I can afford it; just don't care about movies/streaming TV.

My tv (a 10 year old 1080p) probably gets used >5 hour per month and I, maybe, watch a couple movies per year.

It's the highest rated TV on Rtings, I'd like one but I'll wait for the kids to age a bit and be less impulsive...
It may be highest rated but no Dolby vision, Samsung doesn’t support Tizen apps for many years, worse hdmi input switching, it will not let 2 active hdmi devices stay fully independent from each other, example Apple TV 4 k reboots, interupts with diaalogs when watching content, I doubt rtings tests that. In contrast the lg c2 is way lighter, with no long term burnin that ratings saw recently with this model. WebOS apps stay well supported, better apps then same Tizen apps IMHO. HDMI inputs are independent totally, compared to Tizen, yes I had Samsung TVs before, their latest hasn’t changed as checked this recently in store model.

While true, it never has been an issue for me. I don't watch much content that takes advantage of DV and even when I did, I never really was amazed by it on my LG OLED.

Unless you consume a lot of DV content and find it to be a difference maker over HDR10+, I don't think it should be a dealbreaker on buying the S95B.

Unless you contend with hdmi input switching, then it’s big difference such as super easy switch from comcast box to ATV4K withwebOS. Tizen same old have to several steps just to switch.
