I have that feeling too. And there is more than rumors this time: leaked design, reports on M2 chips, production issues in supply chain.

But what I am hoping the most from WWDC is the announcement that iPad Pros will be able to run XCode and Final Cut Pro. We deserve it, they call this machine "pro", charge you up to $2400 for it and put a laptop chip on it with 16 GB of RAM, let's put it to use, differentiate from a tablet.

It is astonishing that you can use a Windows tablet to put iPad Pros out of DFU mode, you can use a $300 Windows device to restore and manipulate the iPad Pro with iTunes, this product is ready to start to be treated as a computer, not just in commercial lingo but in reality.

Sure, replacing the bigger proper "Pro" MBP at higher price tags.

Might be that the M1 is replaced with the 14" one but I expect it to stay around at the current current price till it merges with the Air sometimes next year.

What’s the return policy for a M1 MBA I bought in November (still unopened)? It does have the student software bundle pre-loaded, though. Am I able to return it for a refund? I wanna re-buy with the discounts shown on this post.

i could be wrong but, i think you're way out side of the return window. best bet is to sell it here or swappa.

No thanks on this beta product, I'll wait for a 'more than 1 external monitor' offering without bluetooth, wifi, headset issues. Yes, its fast but being buggy and that monitor limit make it untenable.

And they should add Logic to that list, too. You're right, is it "pro" or not?

What's buggy about it? I haven't seen or heard ANY stories about buggy M1 devices.

iMacs are not available in Mexico yet, so I ended up buying last Tuesday a gold M1 MacBook Air for my daughter. Excellent computer. We even got an educational discount without asking for it.

It's actually quite nice. I thought it'd feature a pinkish hue, but no. It's a copper-ish tone of gold.
Edit: BTW, battery life is unbelievable. My daughter goes on school videoconferences for 8 hours straight, does her homework, watches videos and plays online on and off after meals. By 10pm, battery charge is still above 40%.

It actually is! We wanted to wait for the iMac, but some web plugins were already incompatible with the old 2008 iMac and the web browser my daughter was using (ahem-Chrome-cough), so it was an emergency decision. No regrets whatsoever.

I just picked up an M1 MBA 8 days ago. Should I return? I didn't think the Air would be getting a refresh so soon but maybe so? I really love this thing but if there's a good enough reason to upgrade I would.
