Amazon has kicked off the week with new low prices on Apple's iPad Pro models from 2018, discounting the tablets by as much as $200 off their original prices. Models on sale include the Wi-Fi only versions of the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

These iPad Pros were updated in 2018 with an edge-to-edge display, Face ID, Apple Pencil 2 support, up to 1TB of storage, an A12X processor, and more. Amazon's sales today represent the lowest price available for each model, and in a few cases Best Buy provides a better discount.

Woah, I wish I had that deal, but I wouldn’t want to wait this long from the initial release date for $125 savings.

Interesting how these, “Pro,” models get such steep discounts. It reminds me of the $1000 discount on the iMac Pro that B&H had less than a month after their release.

There’s no shortage of MacBook Pro discounts, either. Last Black Friday, some models were $2000 (50%!) off.

This is a good buy, though!

Wow it be nice to provide early adopters with a retro-active discount :D:D:D:apple::apple::apple:

Wtf. Why are the prices on these items so damn high and then they always go on sale with a ridiculous amount off? What happened to the days of $25 off max??

You got me. For a little moment I thought Apple came back to its senses and lowered the ridiculous price. But not. Also, why the ****** it’s always US only?

I don't understand your complaint. Are you advocating for smaller discounts?

I bet he wants lower price to start with

Buying the LTE version of the 2017 iPad Pro was the worst decision I made. Not found a reason to use it, should have stuck with Wi-Fi only and buy more storage. It’s gonna be a while before I upgrade too.

Is this the model that bends when opening the box? Yeah...that svp of hardware said it was normal...remember that?
It is normal. It’s their new entry in the foldable tablet market. ;)

In all seriousness it should be fine in a sturdy case. Even the older iPads were known to bend. My husband’s iPad from years ago got a bend in it somehow. He simply bent it back straight and it was fine.

Ditto. I don’t know what I was thinking. I had T Mobile and it never worked a day, unless I was outdoors.

I bought my new 12.9” 256GB one week ago from MicroCenter. Only $949. $200 off Apple’s price! Why doesn’t Macrumors ever mention MicroCenter sale prices? I know most people probably don’t have a local store, but you can order from them online, as well.

The Microcenter iPad discounts are in-store only.
Macrumors mentioned/posted it when Microcenter first dropped the 256G 11" price to $799 on Black Friday. They've been selling it for $799 ever since.
