I want an OLED and wireless charging (or make proper use of pogo) iPad the end of this year.

Better OS and Apple native support for iPad as second screen (like astropad) and other value added features are a must at these prices.

For the current prices they should have more tech like this in them.
Or they should have been the same price as last year's to begin with.

Is this the model that bends when opening the box? Yeah...that svp of hardware said it was normal...remember that?

I literally just picked up the 12.9" and that was enough to distort the screen where my fingers were pressing to hold the weight in landscape.
Obviously it has structural issues..

It is normal. It’s their new entry in the foldable tablet market. ;)

In all seriousness it should be fine in a sturdy case. Even the older iPads were known to bend. My husband’s iPad from years ago got a bend in it somehow. He simply bent it back straight and it was fine.

Ditto. I don’t know what I was thinking. I had T Mobile and it never worked a day, unless I was outdoors.

I have the 2017 12.9 and I’m on LTE Verizon constantly. I’m actually watching the boring keynote in my hotel room.

The conference I’m attending has poor WiFi anyway so while using my iPad as a hotspot for my Mac.

I travel a lot for work so I can’t see a WiFi iPad working for me.

Use you phone for hotspot makes way more sense.
You already have everything you need on it.
No need to pay more for the second device.

In theory that works, but mobile hotspot will kill a phones battery and things appear slightly faster with the internal LTE. Also, not directly related but how Verizon works mobile hotspot I have 15 gig mobile hotspot on both my iPad and phone.

Not all will need the data I do, but I work within 13 different states.

The Microcenter iPad discounts are in-store only.
Macrumors mentioned/posted it when Microcenter first dropped the 256G 11" price to $799 on Black Friday. They've been selling it for $799 ever since.
I just got an open box for $750 from them.

Verizon is good. Tmobile on my iPad is horrible. I just couldn't use it so I ended up tethering to my iPhone. But I am glad it works for you! There's definitely a use case when it works.

Except none of these sales are good prices becase they increased the price from $650.

Why? For face I'd?
If they added oled and the other small design changes then maybe okay..

Think we’ll see a refresh in the fall or even a spec bump already?

Rumors are suggesting so.
Hopefully OLED.. and better OS, but second is not likely..
