I will just keep using my 2015 until the M1X stuff comes out as I want the bigger screen.
Enjoy that newer 2015 while I'm still running FCPx on my Mid 2014. Sounds like we'll both be upgrading soon.

I'm hoping this means that the new models will be out in September. Or at least announced. I still am expecting them in November and the Mini in 2022. I will just keep using my 2015 until the M1X stuff comes out as I want the bigger screen.
I resolved the need for a bigger screen by just by just grabbing one of the free Dell monitors they were giving away at work. Really has resolved by productivity issues. Never really had an issue with the 14 inch, but I will admit that my heart was set on a 15 inch, but it never came. Glad I didn't wait for it. I am not in the market for another MacBook anytime soon; although I could past this down to a family member. But considering the revised models will be Rev A's and remember how it all went down with those 2016, 2012, 2008 models, I would rather wait it out.

I will likely get a 32 inch iMac with Face ID in 2023. But for now, the following gets me where I need to go.

I have 3x4K + 1xQHD on the desktop so that's what I am used to. I'd like as many pixels as I can get when I'm on the road.
