Warning: The Duo charger is not fully compatible with some the latest iPhones with the big camera bumps. The phones don't sit flush on the charger because the camera bump gets in the way.
I have a 14 Pro Max and it charges just fine on the MagSafe Duo. Now, what might be an issue is putting a Watch Ultra on the other side in Nightstand mode (on its side). That might not work.

It's the 14 Pro that's the problem. It will charge, but it doesn't sit flush. Same with the 13 Pro.

BTW, I have a third party charging stand (which has a slot for the Apple OEM charging pad), it's the same problem with the 14 Pro Max. Works fine with the 12 Pro Max.

Why would anyone buy a three-year old MagSafe duo that doesn’t fast charge watches and barely fits iPhones?
It definitely needs an upgrade but it’s still a great option for travelers. These have enabled me to really cut down on the amount of cables and chargers I travel with. I now travel with just a tiny 40w Spigen charger, two lightning cables, and two MagSafe Duos. With these I can charge our phones, our watches, our AirPods Pro and Max.

I also carry two of these so I can use the Lightning cables to charge our MacBooks, iPads, and other USB devices.

It never failed to charge my iPhone 14 Pro even the placement slightly was off.

Yes it will charge, but it's definitely not the usual proper fit one comes to expect with OEM Apple devices. One can't blame the Duo, since it came out long before the 14 Pro, but I personally wouldn't want to buy one now, at least not at full price.

Is that so?

They alll have lightning connectors, thus, these need to be upgraded to remove lightning and replace with USB-C.
Why would you want the device connector to be USB-C when your phone is the lighting? Once they move the UBS-C, they will update the device side.

Fits my 13 Mini just fine 💅🏻

You also don’t have to use it as a phone charger. I personally use it to charge my AirPods and watch overnight while I sleep. It’s a great addition to any nightstand and a good charger to bring when you travel since it folds in half.
